BECOME A MEMBER
Rancher’s Ride membership is by invitation only, so that puts all the responsibility on current members to propose and sponsor potential new members. Active members are encouraged to think about which of their friends or colleagues would truly enjoy the ride. However, as a sponsor, a member must be willing to take responsibility for all actions of their “rookie”. Members may sponsor or co-sponsor only ONE applicant per year and must participate in the ride as a mentor to their “rookie.”

Western Wear is required while riding on the trails

Sponsor Responsibilities
Sponsoring New MembERS
Sponsoring a new member for the Rancher's Ride comes with the honor of hosting them and introducing them to the western traditions and fun we have on The Ride. We wanted everyone to be safe and have a good time. When sponsoring a rookie for membership, please be aware that:
The potential rookie needs to fill out and submit a complete application by the due date on the application
Rookies are required to pay all applicable fees
Rookies are required to ride horseback for two years before being considered for membership
As a sponsor you are responsible for the rookie during the ride, including where to park, and showing up for their rookie shifts
You are expected to fill in for your rookie if they do not show up for their rookie shifts
As a sponsor you are expected to ride with your rookie
Sponsoring Guests
Guests are people who do not Ride but otherwise enjoy The Rancher's Ride by sharing meals with the riders, dancing, and attending the silent and live auction
Guests are responsible for paying all applicable fees (equivalent to the trek fee) by the due date if staying for more than one night. Day guests are to pay the applicable one day fee
As a sponsor you are responsible for your guest, including where to park
FIRST YEAR APPLICANTS
CURRENT MEMBERS & PARTY GUEST’S
Complete the 1st YEAR APPLICATION (Printable ) in entirety, endorsed by two active members planning to participate in the 2026 ride, and sign the RIDE RELEASE FORM.
New Member Rider Trek Fee – $400*
New Member Non Rider Trek Fee $325*
*Fee includes all meals, open bar and live bands
Pay with check – PAYMENT FORM
OR go to Dues & Fees in the main menu to make payment
New Member Application, Ride Release Form, and fees are due March 22, 2026
$100 late fee after March 22, 2026
Current Coggins Certificate for Horse(s) Being Ridden
Must be presented at check-in at Welcome Hall
Horses without proper papers will not be admitted
